The Airtel Blackberry bundle allows you to browse with your blackberry subscription using a non blackberry phone, your pc using a modem, As well as on table devices. and its good to know that it works without using any other tunneling software like pd-proxy and the rest.
To start enjoying this package, you'll have to change your apn to internet.ng.zain.com ,
for those of you who are using modems to connect, follow the following steps below to insert new apn:
- On your modem dashboard, go to your "SETTING", and then to
"PROFILE",and create a new network profile, give it any name you want,
- click on "static" and change the APN to internet.ng.zain.com
- let the username and password be blank.
- save the above settings and you are good to go.
To activate the airtel blackberry bundle, load #1,200 on your Sim. Note: "You don't need a blackberry phone to do this, any phone works Just fine". You can even use your modem, it doesn't matter.
Dial*440*4# and press the send key, you will be given 1gb of data which is valid for 30 days.
To check your bundle balance, dial *123*10# or *141*712*0#

Can the airtel unlimited bb plan of #1500 work with PC? If so how can it be done bc I have tried with with the above PC settings but no way...Yemi pls help me

Deleteto start enjopying it load the required airtime on your phone or modem, and then dial *440*16#
after following this steps dial *123*10# to verify that you have 2gig of data, then try connecting to see if it browses.
if you are still unable to browse whenever you connect, then there is a small trick you may need to apply to get it working. just load 100 Naira again and then subscribe to the 10 mb plan, this will immediately unlock your 2gig data there by enabling you to browse on your PC with it. hope this helps. please let me know if you still have any issues with it.
